Use clip edges on the Timeline to quickly fade images or text in and out

This method does not require opening Filters

Select your image or text clip on the Timeline

Zoom in slightly to see the fade handles on the top edges of the clip

The top-left handle controls the fade-in

The top-right handle controls the fade-out

Drag the top-left edge inward to create a fade-in effect

A curved line will appear showing the gradual visibility

Drag further to create a longer, smoother fade-in

Drag the top-right edge inward to create a fade-out effect

This creates a smooth ending transition for your clip
